In this blog, you will find all of your homework tasks for this year. Homework should always be posted onto your blog so that I can check to see how you are going with the course and to allow for members of the class to share ideas with one another.
Please keep in mind the following expectations when you are completing homework tasks on your blog:
1. This is an academic blog and, as such, you need to be completing work of a high standard. You should not be using the type of communication that would be suitable for your MySpace or Facebook pages.
2. You need to take the responsibility to check the homework blog each night to check whether you have homework. You will also be told about homework in the lesson. However, I may also leave reminders for the next class on this site as well.
3. You should proof-read and edit each post before publishing. If you are not sure of the spelling of a word, simply open up dictionary.com in a separate tab and utilise it while you are typing.
4. Feel free to personalise your page by adding appropriate graphics, etc to each post and/or to utilise the free templates that are available on http://deluxetemplates.net/
5. When commenting on another person's post, you need to ensure that you are polite and that your post reflects the nature of the blogs, i.e. academic. Remember, everyone will be able to see who posts what and at what time.
6. Take pride in your work. By using the Blog system you are creating a portfolio of your work that you will be able to refer back to as you progress through the Senior School.
